LiLI eAudioBooks Collection

Hailey Public Library is now offering downloadable audio books. LiLI-eAudioBooks Collection is offered through a collaborative effort of Idaho Commission for Libraries, OCLC Western, and NetLibrary. We can now offer our patrons access to a collection of approximetley 1,100 E-Audio books for Adult and Children.

With eAudiobooks from NetLibrary, we can provide our patrons with 24/7 access to a comprehensive and growing collection of latest audio best-sellers, book club favorites, and award winning authors. Download audio books which can be listened to on a wide range of desktop, laptop and portable devices.

There are never overdue books or late fees - titles automatically return to the Library's collection after 21 days.

You will need to log into LiLI and set up an account.

1. Log in to LiLI
2. Choose "First time users, set up an account"
3. Choose a username and password and click login
4. Choose "Public Library"
5. Click on "Hailey Public Library user: Set up netLibrary Account" This takes you into NetLibrary where you can "Create a Free Account". You will need to choose a username and password, a security question, and give your name and email address. Once you have an account you can access NetLibrary (NetLibrary.org) from anywhere you have access to the web!

Equipment needed

eAudiobooks can be played on any desktop or portable computer that supports Windows Media Player version 9.0 and above. You also can transfer your favorite titles to a wide range of portable devices that support playback of secure or protected wma

files-including portable music players and portable media centers from Archos, Creative Labs, Samsung, Toshiba and other manufacturers.

E-Audiobooks can NOT be played on Apple components. They will not play and cannot be downloaded on Apple Computers or iPods.

Loan Period and Renewal

eAudiobooks check out for 21 days and can be renewed one time only for another 21 days. If you choose not to renew, they will expire when the loan period ends and you should delete the file from your PC and or portable device. Your computer will automatically generate a reminder for renewal to you or you may access your NetLibrary account and check your "items out" to see what needs to be renewed.

Tips when downloading

CD quality should be used when you are going to transfer to a portable listening device.

Radio quality is used when you are using dial up and if you are using on your computer only.
